But by his very "personality" alone, DJT is unfit to be anything other than titular head of Trump Inc. - a most vile and corrupt organization, if there ever was one. However, Trump's lack of humanity, his wallowing in ignorance and intolerance and his basically mean-spiritedness should immediately disqualify him for consideration as POTUS.
But he remains viable, which means that there are still scores of millions of Americans who will vote for this.... person. And that is very frightening. Trump is the epitome of the vulgar narcissist who would destroy the world if he thought he was "going under". And long before November 3, 2020, he will have realized that "going under" will have been his least worry.
Come the 3rd of November, the possibility that the Democratic Presidential candidate will have a clearer path to victory than Hillary did in 2016, will surely have DJT throwing a twit-fit. Not only were the 2018 Mids a diaster for Trump and the Repubs in WI, MI, and PA, but the GetRepublicansElectedEveryNovember Party will have a devil of a time this presidential cycle repeating its role as Putin's most useful idiots - now that even the most purityranical "progressive" realizes the cost of letting the greater evil win - even if they didn't have to pay the price.

Let's just say Trump contests the election - that he claims that he actually won when he actually lost - and he calls for his minions to take to the streets. What do you think will happen? Only then will I feel that it's safe to stay.

The current Gallop poll has Trump at his highest approval ever - 49% - so I'm not paranoid. A recent CNN poll informs us as to why Trump is suddenly so popular.
Drilling down beneath the feel-good top-lines of the CNN poll, revels that White Americans are still firmly supportive of Trump. Whether the topic is Commander in Chief or Foreign Policy or the Economy, White Americans give him moderately positive ratings, while non-White Americans give DJT largely negative ratings. So large are these negative ratings from non-White Americans that they drive Trump's overall approval on each topic into negative territory.
Take, for example, Health Care (see page 30 of poll). Overall, Trump's approval is underwater nationally @ 38-53, but amongst White Americans he is treading water @ 48-44. Scary shit, amirite? If a plurality of White Americans are willing to give-up pre-existing conditions protection, then who knows what other rights and protections they'll willing to give-up in order to ensure the continuing…

So if Trump wins again, especially now that all of his "unknowns" are "well known", then that will be final proof for me that America will not only never live up to its purported beliefs of liberty, justice and equality, but that the people who have benefited the most from the American "experiment" will be the ones most responsible for its demise. Also. And that just isn't an America worth fighting for, or against.
Demented Don wins reelection and you will not have to tell me to GetOut! because I'll gladly leave. Some may believe that It Can't Happen Here, but if it does, whatcha gonna do bout it, dude?
I haven't even started packing yet, however, because I want to believe that the Republican party is going to suffer loses this November similar to their 2018 drubbing. White women and White college grads are both moving away from the Republican party, albeit slowly. Both groups voted Trump in 2016, but it appears highly doubtful that he will win either this time. Without both, both Trump and Republicans are doomed!
So just like in 2006, when i was previously disposed to Get Out! but stayed due to the Democratic House takeover, I'll await the nation's verdict on the current administration.
But if Trump wins I won't wait around for long...
